I created a site called JoomStew.com a little over a year ago that uses Wordpress blog software to run it. When I started the site, I fully intended for it to be a place where I could blog about things within the Joomla community that didn't really have a place here on my business site.
I threw it together in about 8 hours with just some tweaks of the template and a nice new logo I created. That's the logo you see there on the right.
It wasn't long after the site went live, that a good friend of mine, Amy Stephen, asked if I might want to start a series of Podcasts about a book that had just been released by Jono Bacon called The Art of Community. You can actually download the entire book as a PDF, free of charge on Jono's site.
Jono is the Community Manager for Ubuntu, another Open Source software project, and the book covers a lot of good topics on how to create and manage a large Open Source community, or any type of online community really.

This week Joomla! released the latest update to the 1.5 series of the world's most popular CMS. This was a perfect time to upgrade our servers here at Roberts Web Design, as well as the software running on our client's websites.
Security is no laughing matter on the web today, and even the most astute server and site administrators don't always win the war. That's why we work extremely hard to maintain strict update procedures for not only our servers, but offer free security updates to our clients who choose to host their website with us as well.
